VinylPlus Product Label Certification

The commitment of the Istituto Italiano dei Plastici in promoting sustainability is confirmed in the new VinylPlus® Product Label certification project.

It is a labelling scheme that makes it easier for its customers and markets to identify the most sustainable and high-performance PVC products for the building and construction sector.

Born from an idea of VinylPlus, in collaboration with Building Research Establishment (BRE Global) and The Natural Step (TNS), the VinylPlus® Product Label has been developed to ensure that the company’s overall policy and performance, as well as the materials of the components used in a product, are aligned with sustainability criteria.

After a training course at European level, the Italian Institute of Plastics can boast the conclusion of the training program and the start of accreditation.
