OPEN DAY AT CESAP-ISTITUTO ITALIANO DEI PLASTICI TO LAUNCH THE NEW TEST HALL

The annual assembly of the plastic rubber sector of Confindustria Bergamo held at the Cesap headquarters and Istituto Italiano dei Plastici with the renewal of the offices of the Board of the commodity group has launched the Open Day dedicated to the inauguration of the new CESAP technological structure. An institutional seminar on the contribution of Certification and Digital Trading to the ECONOMIA CIRCOLARE @ZeroWaste chain, with the speeches of dr. Antonello Pezzini, Director and Quaestor c / o the European Economic and Social Committee, of dr. Riccardo Parrini, CEO of www.Plasticfinder.it, the first European e-commerce portal dedicated to polymers and additives, and of Eng. Mauro La Ciacera, CESAP Managing Director and of Istituto Italiano dei Plastici General Manager.

We then moved on to the presentation of the new Cesap training proposals, inspired by the changing needs of companies (4.0) in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a revolution that involves companies, who face the challenge of combining innovation and business, while technology is advancing very quickly and increasingly digital is creating new operational models, often imposing a review of processes and a change of paradigm, at the level of organization, of the relationship between machine and man and new skills.

Human Resources therefore become agents of change, promoters of a different way of conceiving work, also through specific training, which is essential to nurture knowledge, the development of new professional skills and human capital.

Cesap has decided to invest in the value of this type of offer for companies, considering that “The ten professions today most requested by the market did not exist until 10 years ago”. The new training proposal is based on the COMPETENCE > INNOVATION > VALUE report.

Thanks to the creation of the Yūshū Sentā, the Center of Excellence, Cesap is able to combine its high specialized expertise, also the result of strategic synergy with the Italian Institute of Plastics, and the availability of the broadest endowment, on national territory, of process plants and test equipment for the theoretical-practical and rigorously scientific analysis of the most advanced methods of analysis and simulation of the main technical and technological processes in the polymers sector. Participants in the event were able to visit both the constantly updated IIP laboratories and the recently established SIX SIGMA MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE ACADEMY, where courses on the main World Class Manufacturing methodologies (TPM + Lean Production + TQM), Six Sigma, of ENERGY MANAGEMENT and EFFICIENCY (one of the new training courses just introduced) to finally focus on the practical demonstrations carried out at the new technological hall of over 1,800 square meters which already includes the presence of a complete injection molding isle compliant with Industry 4.0 (Wittman Battenfeld) , which will soon be joined by thermoplastic extrusion and blow molding machines, elastomer injection moulding as well as equipment for the main post-molding processes, not forgetting the space dedicated to special projects commissioned by customers. In short, the faithful reproduction of portions of “Enterprise 4.0 companies” in the chemical, plastics, rubber and packaging industries.
