IIP S.R.L. has developed and focused its activities primarily on certification services about system and product of plastics supply chain. Later it expanded the provided services through the implementation of advanced and qualified laboratories for the testing of mechanical performance and the chemical characterization of materials and plastic and rubber products, paper and cardboard, becoming soon the main institutional reference in this field.
Certification of Management Systems
The certification of management systems attests to the ability of a company or organization to manage its processes and resources in order to meet specific quality and ethical requirements, economic efficiency, minimizing environmental impact and safeguarding internal security, in accordance with the requirements set by current legislation and determined by market needs.
IIP is an accredited body for the certification of quality, environmental, health and safety at work management systems.
Product certification
Through advanced procedures, complex laboratory tests, manufacturing sites inspections related to the involved products, IIP verifies their compliance with the requirements set by a rule or by a technical specification, issuing the related certification. IIP uses a skilled team of accredited auditors and inspectors and can rely on its advanced laboratory equipment, where carries out more than 95% of required tests, for most accredited.
Laboratory tests
IIP has advanced laboratories for the determination of the measure-physical characteristics, mechanical and chemical properties of manufactured articles of various polymeric materials.
These laboratories are accredited by Accredia (National System for the accreditation of certification bodies and inspection) for most of the tests performed.
Training
The goal is to support the customers in the development of their main asset: the competence. In this context, IIP provides its customers with experience and expertise both in the area of systems and products certification, in addition to the best practices related to the management of the manufacturing processes involving various polymeric materials.
The training courses cover the following topics:
- Updates about ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015
- BRC / IoP Rev.5 introduction to the new edition of the standard rules
- internal auditing
- metrology
- management of by-products and sampling of production waste
- ADR regulation for the waste transport
Third-party Inspection
As third party body, IIP carries out inspections with independent judgments about the products or activities (type A inspection body in accordance with the European standard UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17020 ).
The inspection activities may refer to the analysis of:
- Materials, products, installations, plants, processes in each step of their life
- Working procedures or services
and the determination of their compliance with the existing requirements, followed by an official report for the customer
